BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 28. Turkish President
Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a statement following the 6.1-magnitude
earthquake that struck the province of Balikesir, Trend reports.
“Under the leadership of the Turkish Disaster and Emergency
Management Authority (AFAD), all our relevant agencies are
carefully assessing and monitoring the situation on the ground. May
Allah protect our country and our people from any disaster,”
Erdogan wrote on his page on X.
